How Long is the Program?

This program is designed to give you the flexibility to go at pace that you are comfortable with.  In a traditional program they recommend studying at home about 15 hours a week.  Knowing that working full time and studying that much after long shifts is unrealistic, we have broken down the curriculum in way that will earn you your RN degree studying a meager 5 hours a week. Of course the specific time it will take you to do the program will depend on you.  There are two ways you can study for your exams.  You can either watch the video lessons or you can get on the live, two-way interactive classes.  (Although you are more than welcome to switch back and forth or do both at the same time and it won’t cost you a penny more.) If you choose to study utilizing just the video lessons then you can go as quickly through the videos as you have time for.  You can average that each nursing concept class will be about 15 hours of video lecture so if you need just the nursing credits and assuming you study just 5 hours a week, it will take you about three weeks to complete your studying for each nursing class.  Assuming you take a week off in between each class to go and take your exam, it will take you anywhere from 7 to 8 months to complete all the nursing requirements at an extremely comfortable pace.  Should you choose to study more than the minimal 5 hours a week, well, only you know how quickly you will complete the program.

If you are planning on doing all live lectures and just one class at a time it will take you about  11 to 13 months to complete all your nursing classes.  (That would be devoting just three hours a week to your studies!) 

Worst case, if someone needs every single prerequisite and nursing classes it would take about 16 months watching the video lessons and about 20 months doing just the live classes.  Keep in mind this is doing just one class at a time.  Should your schedule permit, you can take as many classes as you want to expedite your time in the program.  If you can handle 10 hours a week of studying then you can could potentially complete the program in as little as 4 months!
