Excelsior College

Upon completing your studies with RNBP and taking all your exams, your ASN degree will be awarded by Excelsior College. While we are an independent company with no affiliation with Excelsior, what we do is offer the structure and support of a traditional program to those who are pursuing their RN degree through Excelsior or other non-traditional nursing programs.

We know how daunting it can be to try and teach yourself from a 500 page text book with no outside support, that’s why we have created a system that provides you with a live tutor to reassure you that you are on the right track and learning exactly what you need to know.  You can be sure that after completing our video and/or live lecture classes you will be 100% ready to take your CLPE and ECE exams and pass your first time.

But who is Excelsior College?

Excelsior College was founded in 1971, and is a world renowned leader in distance education. The term “Excelsior” means “ever upwards”, and the College philosophy is that it doesn’t matter where or how you learn, but rather what you learn.

Excelsior College School of Nursing has the largest Nursing degree program in the United States. Beyond this claim to fame, Excelsior has been named by the National League for Nursing (NLN) as a 2008-2011 NLN Center of Excellence in Nursing Education. Only eleven schools were so honored with this prestigious designation. The NLN promotes excellence in nursing education. The Excelsior RN bridge program is one of the finest of its kind. Thousands of students have made the transition from LPN to RN through Excelsior.

Formerly Regents College for Military persons, Excelsior still maintains a special place in its heart for military students, awarding more than 50,000 credits for military training every year. Excelsior understands the military way of life and the dedication required, which is why it awards credit for training. In addition, the College also accepts credit from other sources, including credit by examination (DANTES and CLEP exams).
